The Buzz

The Concept 2 Dynamic rower is an exciting new model in the series, built to more closely mimic a natural on-water feel.  If the popularity of the other two rowing machines is any indication, the Dynamic is sure to be a hit, especially with more serious rowers.

Unlike the Model D and the Model E, the Dynamic has a movable footrest, so your body doesn't actually move much throughout the motion as it does on the other two models.

This motion is much closer to how you would move if you were rowing a boat out on the water, making it the ideal choice for competitive rowers.

Another difference on the new Dynamic is the high-strength Dyneema cord that attaches to the flywheel.  The Model D and E have a nickel-plated steel chain.  The cord provides an even smoother motion, and typically requires less maintenance than a chain.

It is much more compact than either of the other two models, at 76" in length as opposed to 96" on the D and E.  That's a big difference and something to consider if your space is limited.

If you row competitively, this is the ideal training tool for you.  For casual users or even serious rowers who aren't necessarily competing, you'll be perfectly suited with the Model D or Model E for a few hundred less.

You can't go wrong with a Concept 2 rowing machine...period.  It's the Rolls Royce of rowers, without the exhorbitant price.
